About Julie Steven

Julie Steven is a 4th grade teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools.  Julie has been volunteering with local rescue groups for several years and has fostered 17 dogs in that time. She lives with two Australian Shepherds, one rescue dog (He’s brown. That’s all I can tell you.) and two rescue cats in a very small house. When not feeding, walking, entertaining, brushing, or wrestling with her dogs and cats, she sings passably well in a local chorale and occasionally trains other people’s dogs, with varied success. This is her second book about her foster dogs.
